Hello,

First I would like to thank the developers for Magit. You have been
doing an excellent job!

However I noticed two slight issues you might be able to solve easily. I
am sorry that my Emacs Lisp is not good enough to provide you directly
with a patch.

In the status buffer, I have noted an inconvenience while browsing the
hunks with 'n' and 'p'. After pressing 'n', the last line of the
selected hunk is moved to the bottom of the buffer, even if the whole
hunk was already fully displayed before pressing 'n'. This is a bit
annoying. On the contrary, with 'p', there is no such inconvenience,
except maybe that a hunk truncated before pressing 'p' is moved to the
bottom of the buffer instead of the top of buffer.

The second point I would like to mention is that
"magit-diff-smaller-hunks" will never split two contiguous lines: if
there are changes in two contiguous lines, these two lines will never be
shown in two different hunks.

I hope these remarks may help improving the behavior of Magit.

Best regards,
VM.
