Yes, I use git-am to apply the patches so; the commit message is formed by the title taken from the "Subject: ", a blank line and the body of the message up to where the patch begins. It means if you send through a corrected patch with "this is a correction" in the body, that would be used in the commit message if I applied it. > The downside of using git-send-email is I feel uneasy using it.
