I have not seen the changes made by Philip, but one of the main
motivations for key-groups is discoverability. You begin knowing that
`l' is for logs (you can see that on the Magit entry of the Emacs menu),
press the key and see which commands and options are available. The
prompt says that `?'  is for showing the docstring of a command. For the
options, you must look up git documentation.
