I think the "Uppercase is the more destructive of two approaches"
mnemonic was useful.  One of magit's main strengths is the way it
imposes uniformity over a somewhat non-uniform git command-line world.
 I think once you are going to actually *interact* with the menu, you
can afford to start with C-u, and that kind of interface is consistent
with many others in Emacs-land.  Therefore, I favor #3.
