Git is really opaque with respect to which upstream branch a given branch will push to or pull from by default, etc. It seems like the magit branch manager would be a perfect place to make that kind of information visible. Bonus: it would be awesome if the information could be represented in a form more easily comprehensible than what I see in .git/config
