I think a part-time maintainer is better than none at all. By the way I am a bit sceptical about a "headless" team. Better again than no maintenance at all, but how do you break deadlocks without a benevolent dictator? Even the most reasonable bunch of people will never find consensus about... key-bindings for instance :-) PS: I am helpless in LISP but I'll keep reviewing shell scripts and Makefiles! Long live magit.
