Like Marc says, you don't *really* need to run 'make install'. Just add this to your .emacs: (push "/path/to/wherever/you/saved/magit" load-path) (require 'magit) And you're good to go. > The Makefile needs a -e added to any sed -i lines that don't have them to run > correctly on OSX 10.6.
