I had

which I guess is long out of date.
Your repo works. My magit font customizations no longer work for some reason.
(set-face-attribute 'magit-item-highlight nil
:background (face-attribute 'highlight :background))
magit-ediff no longer raises an error. I think it might need to save
and restore visibility in org-mode; perhaps that's best done in
org-mode.
