In magit.el, there is a compatibility function for string-match-p. It it supplied if it is not bound. It is greatly appreciated that Magit supports 22 as some of us can't upgrade.
However, it binds inhibit-changing-match-data, which does not exist in 22. I wonder if this might cause subtle bugs? Is there an equivalent to inhibit-changing-match-data in 22? Thanks. -- The Kafka Pandemic: http://thekafkapandemic.blogspot.com
