Hey all,

I'm a magit user... most especially I use magit for managing mediagoblin
hacking stuff. I really love it, and for a long time, I did almost all
"checking what branches still have activity" via magit-wazzap.

But then mediagoblin got bigger and bigger and my branch list got longer
and longer (315 branches!) and magit-wazzap is now just too slow to
reload comfortably.

I just discovered the undocumented feature of "ignore"ing branches in
magit-wazzap with "i". This is really great and works really well,
though it seems like things are still pretty slow. I have this
suspicion that the reason for this is because git is still iterating
through all the other 300 branches that are merged but otherwise idle.

I have two thoughts:
 - I'm assuming a patch mentioning the "ignore" feature to the magit
   docs is welcome?
 - I wonder if I should create a mode somehow that allows me to look at
all old branches that *wouldn't* show up in magit-wazzap and bulk
mark them as ignore. Would that be useful to anyone else? Is there
a better way to do this?

Looking forward to any thoughts!
 - Chris
