Currently, logging has the --graph option on by default but it's implemented
as a special case: magit-key-mode-generate (in magit-key-mode.el near
the end) has

;; As a tempory kludge it is okay to do this here.
         ,(cl-case group
            (logging
             '(when magit-have-graph
                (list "--graph")))
            (diff-options
             '(when (local-variable-p 'magit-diff-options)
                magit-diff-options))))))))

So I guess this isn't currently supported, but is intended to be, some
time in the future.
