The shell strips the single quotes before invoking the program: $ printf '[%s]\n' git --no-pager push --receive-pack='git receive-pack' -v origin master:master [git] [--no-pager] [push] [--receive-pack=git receive-pack] [-v] [origin] [master:master] So you don't need them when calling from elisp. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "magit" group.
