I am not sure if this is relevant or not but we have been experiencing a similar problem. The blog does not corrupt but when clicking the Save Post button it changes to Processing but does go anywhere. Sometimes the blog post saves and other times it does not. The student can then go back and enter the post again.
We are using version 1.3.2.
