I think, in the case of comment threads (i.e. feedback) it might be
better if, rather than being fully threadable the same as forums, they
were slightly simpler and only the top-level comments were threadable.
Sorta like Facebook's current subthread functionality.

In other words, if you post a comment on a Page, that comment will have
a "reply to" link that will cause a subthread to that comment, and other
people can post comments on that subthread or on the Page itself. But,
comments within the subthread will not have a "reply to" link. So, only
1 level of subthreads is possible.

It's a nice compromise between the complexity of full threading and the
over-simplicity of no threading.

Title:
Threaded replies to feedback on views

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Hi,
I received some feedback on a view recently and found myself looking for a
way to reply directly to it.
All I can do in practice is add more feedback in order to reply to the other
feedback.
This doesn't make sense, as sometimes people ask questions about your
view/portfolio and as the creator of the view I would like to respond in a
threaded sense as you would any other comment system.
  Thanks,
  Shane.
