Hi Jim, Yes, it would be good to have all those options. There are a few options:
1. Delete a collection but leave the pages in place because you want to use them elsewhere. 2. Delete a collection and all pages. 3. Delete a collection and only a few pages from it. I don't know if this option would actually be required or if it would only add complexity. Would your users for example be keen on that? I would still keep the artefacts where they are and not delete them.
