I would amend this by saying: The user may want to choose as some people see it as bad usability (cf. http://www.useit.com/alertbox/990530.html ) to open new links in a different browser window / tab. Thus, if possible the regular function of "target="" when including a hyperlink could be included and goes for all links that are associated with this RSS feed, i.e. the feed address itself and the links to the individual feed items if the condensed version is chosen.
