So when it come to creating our tarballs for release we will need to run the 'make css' to compile the .css files so they can be included as well. This will make it easier for the community to set up / update sites from tarballs without having to compile the css each time. To achieve this it looks like one will need to edit the mahara-script release.sh file and add a section just before the 'Create tarballs' bit to compile the css on the '/tmp/mahara.XXXXX' directory created earlier in the script.
