This is an enhancement request/ suggestion / idea not a bug.
I think that Mahara would be more user friendly if some of the steps to
complete certain actions were reduced.
One idea around this I have had is to add a 'Add content' or 'Quick add'
block to the Mahara Dashboard.
This could include think like a button to:
- Add a file (possibly with the ability to choose a folder to add to)
- Add a journal entry (with the ability to choose which journal if you have
multiple enabled)
- Create a new page.
I have done a really rough mock-up of what this might look like in Paint
and attached it to this ticket.
