As discussed with Robert, there are two possible solutions to this
problem:
1. Quick and dirty: add a "require_once('htdocs/lib/group.php')" to
htdocs/newviews/lib.php's "render_instance()" method.
2. Better: Remove some of the logic code from "newviews.tpl" so that the
call to "group_homepage_url()" occurs in PHP rather than in the Dwoo
template. Currently this template has *lot* of logic. It determise
whether the view is owned by a user, group, or institution; it
calculates the URL for the user, group, or institution; and it
determines whether or not to hide the user's name if it is a user. All
of that could and perhaps should be moved into the PHP side of things.
Most likely into htdocs/lib/view.php::View::get_extra_view_info() and
::get_extra_collection_info(), which could add a generic "authorurl" and
"authordisplaystring" in addition to the data it currently populates.

Sometimes when I'm testing things on my cleanurl https:// site I get
this strange error where if I go to the homepage it tries to reload
the page over and over.
