Hi Rakesh, This functionality works for me in Mahara 15.10, so I think it's probably a problem in your configuration, not a bug in Mahara.
Is your system unable to send out any emails at all? Check your email configuration: http://manual.mahara.org/en/15.10/administration/config_site.html#email- settings Also check to make sure your config.php file doesn't contain any settings for "$cfg->sendemail = false;" or "$cfg->sendallemailto". These are both optional config settings that can be useful during development and testing, but will prevent emails from going out. You could also try asking for help on the mahara.org forums.
