There are two related bugs that should be addressed at the same time: 1. Bug #1565197: Selecting "Site journal" in "Recent journal entries" block in a group just spins - 2. You can place site and institution journals into a page and see them in the "Add entry" drop-down even when you don't have access to add entries. + 2.
