Escape button during progress bar

If for some strange reason the user decides to hit the 'Esc' button
while the progress bar is up, the 'Processing' button freezes.
I found this to be the case on the 'Add groups by CSV'.
The progress bar was originally added to this screen in the request:

I know it's highly unlikely that a user would be so inclined.
