This had been a front-end decision when moving to the Bootstrap
framework. The search button should actually still only be hidden. So
making is visible again should be a quick fix.

A 'Search' button next to the 'Search' text field in the top right
corner of the screen is recommended to improve usability and
accessibility. Not all users may be aware that they need to hit the
'Enter' button to perform a search.
