Actually it is a need for several customers. They all are admin of a group and the same demand : They want to have the availability to share discussion or files only to a part of their group.
For example one of our customer manage a group componed by secretaries, radiographers and physicists. He doesn't want to open one group for each profile. He need only one groupe and decide for each discussion if it is open to the whole group or dedicate to several profil. Today the only solution is to create 7 groups : whole, secretaries, radio, physic, physic + radio, secr+radio and secr+phys. The idea is also to start discussion with a subgroup and open after to the rest of the group. I have more than one customer asking for this functionality. They all have the same issue. It is the case for forum discussion but also for files and folders.
