A user always has an authentication method associated with them that comes from one institution even if they are in multiple institutions. They can't really have multiple authentication methods. Even with setting one authentication method as parent to MNet, it's only the parent authentication that is recorded in Mahara. Then some "magic" ties that to MNet.
Antonella can take a look at the code of the parent authentication for MNet and see if she can set up internal auth to work with it as well rather than just LDAP / SSO. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mahara Contributors, which is subscribed to Mahara. It could be nice if a user could enter to Mahara entering by Moodle or by Mahara. Today, if I configure one Moodle as entry gate, the user of this institution won't be able to enter directly in Mahara. If he want to, I need to change auth methode in his configuration to "his_intitution:internal". I could be usefull if we can easilly have more than only one auth method for users.
