The message you posted is the generic one that is displayed in the
system. A more explicit one that would allude to the issue can be found
in the error log.

content of a page is completely deleted, page editor isn't accessible
anymore

Bug description:
I placed an annotation-block on my page I was working on. I received a
message with the text of my annotation. I chose the link in this message zu
come back to my pages. Ever since then the following message appears on my page
instead of the content I created:
"Mahara: Site unavailable
A nonrecoverable error occurred. This probably means you have encountered a
bug in the system"
It is no longer possible to access the page-editor or anything else
related to the page.
Version of Mahara: 18.04.1
operating system: Windows
database: ./.
browser: Safari 11.1.1 (no access to the page on several browsers like
internet explorer and firefox as well)
