Public bug reported:
The collections drop-down menu for navigating between pages in a
collection does not seem to respond to the space key in order to operate
it using only keyboard interaction. It is better if this menu could be
made to work similarly to the other drop-down menus we have in Mahara
that are operable on both the enter key and the space key to expand the
drop-down and the arrow keys to select.
To test have a collection of at least two pages and:
1. Log in to Mahara, and navigate to a drop-down selection box such as Account
menu -> Settings -> Preferences -> Language
2. Expand and collapse the drop-down menu by using the Enter/ Space keys.
3. Navigate to the first page of the collection and attempt to operate the
collection navigation drop-down in a similar way
Expected results:
The drop-down can expand on both Enter and Space keys and navigated via the
arrow keys.
Actual results:
The space key does not expand the drop-down. The arrow keys do not navigate
the menu.
