'Image gallery' block shows filenames instead of descriptions

Bug description:
Tested with MySQL8+Firefox+Maroon theme
To replicate:
1. Add an Image Gallery block
2. The images you add to it can be from a folder, or ones you upload, or
individual images you've already uploaded - happens in all cases - just make
sure that the image has a description.
3. Set 'Show descriptions' to 'Yes'
Expected:
- Descriptions display below the image(s) in the block
Actual:
- Filename is displayed
(this problem does not occur in the Image block)
