Hi, I have had a look at this, the default order is indeed by the join time (with admins first), then by first, last. And you can set a config to change that to the latest. (same order, without admins)
I have a patch i will submit that changes the order to last, first, join. with the option to select latest (only shows on group homepage, and is on by default). patch is available for review at https://reviews.mahara.org/107 Cheers, Hugh -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mahara Committers, which is subscribed to Mahara. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/707860 Title: List group members alphabetically Status in Mahara ePortfolio: In Progress Bug description: Currently, as Richard told me, group members are listed according to their group joining date on the membership page of a group with the admin leading, of course, as she was the first to create the group. I think it would be good to have an alphabetical listing of group members (admin can stay as the first if that is important) to make it easier to find group members esp. in larger groups. The listing should be according to their last name and then their first name. If it is important to know the order that members joined a group, we could have a setting above that allows for alphabetical and chronological listing. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mahara-core Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mahara-core More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
