I can't see how to reproduce this apart from entering in the HTML directly.
If some HTML is copied, any div attributes get wiped and are just left with the simple div tag I've tried different buttons in the editor but none seem to encounter the problem. Will leave this as incomplete unless original reporter gives more details on how to reproduce.
