Hi Hugh, It may not be the OS, since this is happening on both my local implementation and on our pre-production server (production is still on 1.3.5) but local is Windows 7, and pre-production is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.5.

If you can manage to highlight these two small dots they actually behave as the find button does. These dots do not appear in FireFox or Chrome, making me think this is a styling issue.
