Fexible Columns

Bug description:
My students - and me too- would love to have the possibility in the layout to
lets say start with 1 column and then below have the possibility to have 2 or
3 columns. Is there any chance to get this in the near future? I know it's nit
common in any kind of blogs but for websites you can have this feature. Would
make the layout much mre flexible.
