New Entry button not displaying properly

Bug description:
Using Mahara 1.40. When viewing the list of journals, the 'New Entry'
button is squeezed into a narrow column that forces it to display on
two lines and looks very messy - if viewed from within a journal the
New Entry button displays properly. Have tried this on a couple of
default themes (Ultima and Aqua) with the same result.
