 <sigh> Then why have you disabled the message box asking if you want to
save the changes before closing on "No"? If you hadn't, it would ask you
before closing. You can reenable it by using the button in the last page of
the options dialog.

 Anyhow, I'll probably make this question unconditional. I hesitated to do
it at the beginning and I probably didn't choose the right solution.

 No, but you need a compiler.

 They're updated simultaneously - each real release includes Win32
binaries. But the sources are always up to date in the cvs while the
binaries are not.
