 I surely don't have anything against such basic GPG support but I don't
have time to work on it. I can (well, I hope I will) help it by
implementing the wxExecute wrapper as I promised but that's about all.
OTOH, I am prepared to sacrifice more time for a more long-term encryption
framework.

 The main problem with the The Bat's approach is that it uses the old PGP
email standard (the "BEGIN PGP ..." markers in the text) and not the new
MIME-based one and I believe that only the latter is important for the
future. For example, I see no need to produce the messages in old format
even if it might be nice to be able to read them.
