Hello all, I've been poking around through the code of Mahogany, looking to see how difficult it would be to replace/add transports (ie, SMTP and IMAP). I'm trying to make a modern and simple email system for boats/remote locations over HF radio and Pactor. The most progress I've made so far is to find a few configure references to IMAP, and a class reference or two. Is this being handled in outside libraries, or in a class that I haven't found yet?
The other side of the equation is pretty much done. I've already built and tested the server (using an existing client) using wxPython and pyserial, but those libraries create a huge dependancy chain for the user to install. I also poked at the Mozilla mail client, but Mozilla Mail is not a seperate component. There are a couple of projects to seperate it, but neither seem to be that far along. -- Ron Alford, KB0NUV http://volus.net/~ronwalf ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: viaVerio will pay you up to $1,000 for every account that you consolidate with us. http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;4749864;7604308;v? http://www.viaverio.com/consolidator/osdn.cfm _______________________________________________ Mahogany-Developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mahogany-developers
