Hello,

now the count of untranslated and fuzzy translation is down to ZERO !
You find the files (M.mo and M.po) at http://home.netsurf.de/martin.jost/

What still needs to be done is:
- Accelerator Keys (These are mostly a mess right now)
- Some oddities with the messages in Mahogany itself need to be adressed. (see
  below)
- Publishing and documenting the perl-hacks [ahem -- tools] and my experiences with the
translation - in the hope to help other translators - is on my
  "wouldn't-it-be-nice-if-list"...

There are still some places, where english messages show up for one reason
or another.

Here is the list of those oddities:

The following msgids don't show up translated, some have additional problems:

# Doesn't get translated
# The quotes are set in the source instead of in the msgid
# The quotes used get crippeled on output on my linux-system
#: classes/MApplication.cpp:1171
#, c-format
msgid "Sent %lu messages from outbox %s."

# Doesn't get translated !
#: gui/wxThrDialog.cpp:196
msgid "Thread messages on &server"

# Doesn't get translated !
#: gui/wxThrDialog.cpp:197
msgid "Thread messages by &references only"

# Doesn't get translated !
#: gui/wxThrDialog.cpp:207
msgid "&Gather messages with same subject"

# Doesn't get translated !
#: gui/wxThrDialog.cpp:208
msgid "&Break thread when subject changes"

# Doesn't get translated in the case of ADB-export
#: adb/ProvPalm.cpp:281
#: adb/ProvPalm.cpp:282
msgid "PalmOS Addressbook"

# first '%s' can't be translated, leading to a mixture of english and translation
#: adb/AdbFrame.cpp:1753
#, c-format
msgid "Really delete the %s '%s'?"

======================================================================

In the neigborhood (in the dialog) of those, some strings can't be translated:

# "Add" and "Modify" to the right of this don't get translated; "Delete" gets
translated
# (wxwindows-problem ?)
#: adb/AdbFrame.cpp:493
msgid "&Additional e-mail addresses"

# names of the headers in the dialog don't get translated
#: gui/wxHeadersDialogs.cpp:370
msgid "Default headers"

# all names in the drop-down-list don't get translated
# In addition the drop-down list is much wider, than the text needs.
# The text to the left (thus ?) gets cut off.
#: gui/wxSortDialog.cpp:60
msgid "Arrival order"

# List of header-names shown when this is clicked doesn't get translated
#: gui/wxOptionsDlg.cpp:1324
msgid "Configure &headers to show..."

Search-Dialog
All entries in the drop-down list for "In:" don't get translated

"Deleted stale Lock-File..." at startup isn't translatable

"General",. "EMail", "Office", "Private" (on the Tabs in Adb) can't be
translated

All entries in the context-menu for the template macros don't show up translated !

======================================================================
In the following dialogs, strings don't show up as msgid, and thus are untranslatable:

All format-names in the ADB-import-dialog don't get translated

"native format" in the list of adress book formats isn't translatable

======================================================================
An '...' in the msgid seems appropriate but is missing, or it is superflous:

# The '...' seem inappropriate
#: gui/wxMenuDefs.cpp:291
msgid "Update sub&tree..."

# Because of the confirmation '...' seem appropriate
#: gui/wxMenuDefs.cpp:470
msgid "&Clear"

# Because of the confirmation '...' seem appropriate
#: gui/wxFolderTree.cpp:492
#: gui/wxMenuDefs.cpp:284
msgid "&Remove from tree"

======================================================================
Some dialog-boxes have no title:

The "Choose-File" Dialogbox for appending a Vcard (In Tab Idendity in
Settings)

the program-call for new messages

Share and enjoy !

Martin

P.S.:
I _really_ will now go at my pushed down tasks. I will look into the
problems above, as soon as a correction is in the code. I will also look
into problems with the translation if I get reports.
But don't expect work on the other points listed above very soon now...
