I think the best (and also the simplest, really) would be for you to recompile Mahogany from source yourself. Just get the .tar.gz, unpack it, type "configure && make && make install" and you should have a working copy of Mahogany on your system. The only prerequisite is wxGTK 2.4.0+ but you should be able to find an RPM (you need wxGTK-devel, not just wxGTK). Otherwise you can build it yourself already using exactly the same incantation.
