Hi

use another editor with better 2-byte support for composing your messages.
If I remember correctly, the native composer is one of the things the M
developers plan to improve, sooner or later.

Go to Edit->Preferences, in the Helpers tab there is a field 'External
Editor' where you can enter the command to use, e.g 'gnuclient %s'.
If you tick the 'Always use it' checkbutton, M will always start your
preferred editor when you compose (reply to, forward, etc.) a message
