Hi Guys,

Another project I am following that has been several years in the
pipeline and yet is still in the "arguing what to do" stage is
http://groupware.openoffice.org

The intended aim is to create a fully groupware compliant client and
server basically to challenge the likes of MS's exchange / Outlook
combo.

It seems to me that we have here something that could fit the bill as
far as the client goes and I also know that there are a lot of
*programmers* / developers over there that we need / could use.

Now I haven't said anything over there about Mahogany (because it only
occurred to me in the last few days) but I wonder if some of you want
to pop over and see what is happening and maybe do some bridge building
that can be of profit to both camps?

Hint: I know that calendars and address books are of major interest to them!

What do you think?

MarkL
