Aha. Now you have explained it, I understand what you mean. 

Potentially an explosive situation. You have a message which causes
the system to crash, you restart Mahogany and - it crashes again. Not
desireable.

If this turned out to be a desireable feature, an "Are you sure?" type
message before automatically reopening windows might be required.
