 It doesn't seem to be very useful to open an empty "results" folder. In
fact, I even thought initially to not open it if there was only one match
neither although right now it is done.

 Anyhow, back to your question: the virtual folder is created and opened
only if there are some search results. Try searching for "results" in the
subject -- this should work (if it doesn't, please let me know what kind of
folder is this).
