Sorry, this doesn't really help :-( I've uploaded the latest M version
with the PDB file here:

Please download the dbghelp.dll:
http://www.lpthe.jussieu.fr/~zeitlin/Mahogany/Win32/dbghelp.zip
and put it near M.exe (if you put it elsewhere the older version in your
windows directory could be used instead), you should get a detailed crash
report file when it crashes.
Please send it to me if you do and let me know what happens if you don't.
