Hello, so you might call me (or better my computer) crazy or bewitched, but this is what I found: (The menu entries I quote may be mis"spelled"; I'm using the german version and try to translate back to english...) I Start Mahogany from a shell at the cmd-line Stop it using EMail/Finish In the shell-window I find: godot:> /pd/mahogany0.64cvs/bin/M zsh: 4098 abort /pd/mahogany0.64cvs/bin/M (Yes, mahogany itself and even wxGTK are installed in an unusual place. mahogany is configured with --with-wx and linked using -Wl,-rpath,/pd/wxGTK_cvs/lib) No core-file is there afterwards, despite the "abort" II Start composing a message Click the close-button Ask M to save it as draft Choose the draft and do Message/Open in composer The cursor turns to the clock cursor. Nothing else happens. Choose the draft and do Message/Open in composer again This time a composer-window is opened. (Cursor still as a clock) The clock-cursor problem is old. Opening the draft only on the second try is a new phenomen. Note that in the meantime, I - changed the HW (MB) - Upgraded from SuSE 8.1 to 8.2 installing it fresh on a second disk - Deleted wxGTK and all versions of Mahogany, installing it from a new copy from CVS Still the problem exists and got worse... III Now it even gets better (Hope you are well seated) Stop and start M new. Try Folder/Search => Doesn't work, as described Now choose the draft from step II and do Message/Open in composer The cursor turns to the clock cursor. Nothing else happens. Now go back to the last folder, where you did the search Repeat the search This time it works !!!! :-O (I tried this several times with local mbox and mbx folders - always the same) Will a debug version of wxGTK and mahogany help ? (I'm getting tired of building M and wxGTK at the moment, so I ask first if it makes sense) BTW: I also found an easy one: This isn't translatable (no msgid shows up): No matching messages found Would you like to search again ? Have the apropriate amount of fun ;-) Martin ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
