New mail messages are not detected on the server even when the Check for New
Mail button is clicked. The messages are retrieved when Mahogany is exited and
restarted.

One simple way to check for this problem is to send an email to yourself and
then check for it. When I do this, I don't receive it in the same session, but
only after I exit and restart it.

I am using the standard values for the server ports and other config details.
Some other email clients work fine with the same settings so I guess the server
is not at fault, and the settings are also right.
