This would be a very important bug to fix. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce it so far.
We should be able to try and reproduce this locally.. not a problem there.. just let's hope the bug pops up again

Good luck :-/ I failed to do it although I did try a lot. There are lots of such checks everywhere already but, of course, it's not impossible that one is missing somewhere. The real solution could be to dismiss the splash whenevre a new window is shown but it's a bit tricky to implement this at wxWindows level.
This one I have lots of ideas on .. and the Splash does not go away when the "Main Frame" or "Log Window" opens.. when I do get 0.65 claire to open it stays for quite a while, but eventually goes away..
I have ideas to fix that.. :)
