How deep is the stack? Is it infinite recursion? Are all snashots from the
lockup? Where do they join into one common caller?


The snapshots are all from the lockup, i.e. interrupt, look at the stack, let it continue for a while and then repeat the sequence.
I couldn't see anything obvious, the stack isn't very deep.
I have the suspicion that it has to do with the fact that ReInit(), called because of a zero length string, doesn't change the given string and the whole goes into a 'wide' loop.
I am probably wrong...
