Sorry, this is indeed stupid behaviour due to unexpected semantics of
AC_PROG_YACC. Need to replace it with AC_CHECK_PROGS(YACC, byacc yacc 'bison
-y', do_whatever_we_need_to_if_yacc_is_missing) in configure. Will do.
