As I said long ago to Vadim, I only use a mailer which has a "folder
selector box" like the old Netscape 4.7 had. It allows to switch between
folders even if the folder pane is completely hidden. So far Mahogany
doesn't have this feature. I'd have liked to use more wxWidgets
applications but this small feature is a killer argument for me.
Lately I came across a small extension
("http://www.supportware.net/mozilla/#ext4";) which adds this feature to
Mozilla/Thunderbird. This means I intent to switch to use Thunderbird if
some others minor issues are solved. It also means that Thunderbird will
probably become the standard mailer for wyoDesktop
("http://wyodesktop.sourceforge.net";). Since wyoDesktop is more than a
year in the future no decision is done and there is lot of time left.
