 I don't understand what's going on, it's an inline function... And,
anyhow, HAVE_VARIADIC_MACROS should be defined for all gcc versions >= 3 so
this code shouldn't be compiled at all. Did something wrong happen to dspam
configure so that it decided that neither variadic macros nor inline was
supported?
